Trailary

A trail diary. Trailary syncs your hikes, trail runs, and rides from Strava — or lets you import a GPX file by hand — and lays them out on a private, personal map, so you can see everywhere you've been, all in one place.

How it works

1

Create an account

Sign up with your email — takes a few seconds.

2

Bring your tracks

Connect Strava for automatic sync, or import GPX files by hand.

3

Explore the map

All your tracks appear on an interactive map you can pan, zoom, and click through.

4

Filter & customize

Narrow by year, type, distance, or elevation gain — and pick your own track colors.

What you get

🔄

Automatic Strava sync

Connect once — new activities show up on their own, no manual step.

📤

Manual GPX import

No Strava? Upload a GPX file directly, just as easily.

🎨

Your colors

Give each activity type — hiking, trail running, cycling, and more — its own color.

🗺️

Several basemaps

Minimal light/dark maps, OpenStreetMap, and optionally Mapy.com outdoor/satellite/winter layers.

📱

Works on your phone

A responsive layout that's just as usable from the trailhead as from your desk.

🔒

Private by default

Your tracks are visible only to you, behind your own account.

Private by design. Everything behind your login is yours only. Trailary never asks for your Strava password — Strava's own login page handles that, and Trailary only ever receives a revocable access token.
